Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting our website. In the following, we would like to inform you about the handling of your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

Responsible party
The responsible party for the data collection and processing described below is the office named in
the imprint.

Storage of the IP address
We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser strictly for the purpose of recognising, limiting and eliminating attacks on our websites for a period of seven days. After this period, we delete or anonymise the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Usage data
When you visit our websites, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our websites. This data record consists of

  • of the page from which the file was requested,
  • the name of the file,
  • the date and time of the query,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the access status (file transferred, file not found),
  • the description of the type of web browser used,
  • the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established.

The aforementioned log data is only stored anonymously.

Data security
We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible. We use an encryption procedure on our pages. Your data is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using encryption. You can recognise this by the fact that the lock symbol is closed in the status bar of your browser and the address line begins with https:/.

Data transfer to third countries
Sometimes we transfer personal data to a third country outside the EU.
In each case, we have ensured an adequate level of data protection:
In the case of Google Analytics, Google DoubleClick and Google Tag Manager (USA), an adequate level of data protection results from the corresponding participation in the Privacy Shield agreement (Art. 45 (1) of the GDPR).

Cookies
We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device and can be read. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies can contain data that make it possible to recognise the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information on certain settings that are not personally identifiable.

Here you can view and manage the cookies at any time.

You can set your browser to inform you about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You can also delete cookies at any time via the corresponding browser setting and prevent the setting of new cookies. Please note that our websites may then not be displayed optimally and some functions may no longer be technically available.

Google Publisher Tags
On our website, a web service of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St., Dublin, D04 E5W5 (hereinafter: Google Publisher Tags) is reloaded. We use this data to ensure the full functionality of our website. In this context, your browser may transmit personal data to Google Publisher Tags. The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest lies in the error-free functioning of the website. Google Publisher Tags has self-certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement (cf. www.privacyshield.gov/list). The data is deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection has been fulfilled. Further information on the handling of transmitted data can be found in the Google Publisher Tags privacy policy.

You can prevent the collection as well as the processing of your data by Google Publisher Tags by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker in your browser (you can find this, for example, at www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).

Google Analytics
We create pseudonymous usage profiles with the help of Google Analytics in order to design our website according to your needs. Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your terminal device and can be read by us. In this way, we are able to recognise returning visitors and count them as such. The data processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, as we have activated IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA (an adequate level of data protection exists according to Art. 45 (1) DSGVO through Google's participation in the Privacy Shield) and only shortened there.

You can revoke the processing at any time. Please use one of the following options to do so:

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link.

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which permanently prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Google Tag Manager
We also use Google Tag Manager to better evaluate user behaviour based on pseudonymised user data. Google Tag Manager is a solution with which website tags can be managed via an interface.
This works insofar as a page load is detected by the Tag Manager. According to the configuration, this loading of the website triggers a Google Analytics tag. The data from this tag is then sent back to the Google Analytics servers so that a pseudonymised evaluation of user behaviour can be carried out. This is done by integrating the Google Analytics code and by activating the IP anonymisation described in more detail under "Google Analytics". For
more information on the terms of use and data protection, please visit http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

We use Google remarketing technologies
We use cross-device remarketing technologies from Google so that you can be shown targeted advertising on other websites based on your visit to our websites. The data processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

How does remarketing work?
When you visit our websites, it is possible that Google retrieves recognition features for your browser or terminal device (e.g. creates a so-called browser fingerprint), evaluates your IP address or stores a recognition feature in the form of a small text file on your terminal device (e.g. a so-called third-party cookie). It is also possible that Google links your visit to our website with one or more of these recognition features and stores them in order to show you our advertising on other pages on the Internet. The recognition features described above are designed as pseudonyms and can be used by Google to recognise your terminal device on other websites. For example, if you visit a page that participates in Google's display advertising network (i.e. displays advertising on behalf of Google), Google may recognise your terminal device and your browser on the basis of the above-mentioned features. We may also provide our websites with so-called "remarketing tags". This means that we can include keywords in our web pages that contain statements about the content of the page displayed (such as product or service categories). The keywords we use do not contain any personal or sensitive information. Google receives and stores these keywords for the recognition features mentioned above. When you visit a page that we have tagged with a certain product category, Google stores this keyword and associates it with your recognition features. This enables us to ask Google to display advertisements on other websites that are based on the pages we visit. If you visit another website that participates in Google's display advertising network, Google can use the recognition features and the keywords stored for these recognition features to determine whether and, if so, which of our advertisements should be displayed to you. You can find more information on how Google remarketing technologies work at: www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

What does cross-device remarketing mean?
If you log in to Google services with your own login data or use one or more Google accounts, Google can link the recognition features of different browsers and devices with each other. This means that if Google has created a unique identifier for the laptop, desktop PC, smartphone or tablet you are using, these identifiers can be associated with each other as soon as you use or have used a Google service with your login details. In this way, Google can target our advertising campaigns across devices. However, Google will only do this if you have agreed to this data processing with Google in the past.

You have the option to make settings for advertising. You can object to this form of advertising at any time. To do so, please visit this page at support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922 and deactivate personalised advertising. Please note that these settings may not affect all end devices and browsers. You can also obtain further information at
https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922.

Newsletter registration and dispatch
You can order a free newsletter on our website. Please note that we require certain data (at least your e-mail address) to register for the newsletter. Your e-mail address will only be used for sending and personalising the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

After you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail at the e-mail address you provided (so-called double opt-in), which allows us to check that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to us measuring your click and opening behaviour (by means of so-called tracking pixels) in order to enable us to offer you the best possible newsletter. In addition, we store further data if this is necessary so that we can prove that you have ordered our newsletter. This may include storing the full IP address at the time of ordering the newsletter, as well as a copy of the confirmation email sent by us. The corresponding data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Parking online booking and payment
We offer you the possibility to book parking spaces in advance on our website. To use this service, you can either register as a user or make a guest booking. For both options, we require your first and last name as well as your address, e-mail address and, if applicable, mobile phone number. The data collection is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. You can provide further details, but you do not have to. Data that you transmit to us in the course of registration or your inquiries are used exclusively for the processing of the online parking reservation (our partner is Rezcomm, based in Exeter, Great Britain). The processing of the data takes place exclusively in Germany. The data as a registered user and as a guest user will be automatically removed from our system after the legal retention period of 10 years.

The verification of the registration process for the Customer's account and, as a guest, for its booking, is carried out with each registration process by sending an access code consisting of six digits to the e-mail address provided. The login to the Rezcomm e-commerce platform is carried out using a single sign-on procedure. Single sign-on, abbreviated SSO, is a one-time login procedure. After a one-time authentication, the customer thus has access to several services in the future with further products in addition to parking on the "Marketplace" of the e-commerce platform.

In the course of the booking, your credit card data will also be collected (card type, card holder, card number, expiry date, card verification number). This data collection is also based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. The payment data will be deleted after fulfilment of the contractual obligations. The card payment is carried out by our Level 1 PCI-DSS-compliant external payment service provider (Payone, based in Frankfurt, Germany). For the payment methods Giropay and iDeal, you will be redirected to the online banking of your bank and log in there with your usual login.

When booking a parking space, a shortened right of cancellation may arise if the time of booking and the booked entry are less than 14 days apart. It follows that your right of cancellation expires from the time of the booked entry. You can give your consent via the pop-up window during the booking process.
